Interesting fact
The Pattern 20 Groszy coin was designed by Polish artist and engraver, Józef Aumiller, and features a unique pattern that was never used on any other Polish coin. The obverse of the coin features a portrait of a young woman wearing a traditional Polish folk costume, while the reverse features a stylized image of an eagle surrounded by oak leaves. The coin's design was meant to symbolize the rebuilding of Poland after World War II.
