Interesting fact

The Pattern 20 Francs coin from Rwanda was designed by the famous French engraver and sculptor, Auguste C. L. B. C. Patey. Patey was known for his work on various coins and medals, including the French franc and the Belgian franc. The coin's design features a portrait of King Kigeli V Ndahindurwa, who was the last king of Rwanda before the monarchy was abolished in 1962. The coin's reverse side features a depiction of a traditional Rwandan hut and a coffee plant, which were important symbols of Rwandan culture and agriculture at the time.
