Interesting fact

The Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle, designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, is considered one of the most beautiful coins ever minted in the United States. It features a stunning design of Lady Liberty striding forward with the sun behind her, and was minted from 1908 to 1933. The coin was made of 90% gold and 10% copper, and weighed 33.43 grams. Interestingly, the coin was originally designed without the motto "In God We Trust," but it was added to the coin in 1908 after public outcry. This coin is highly sought after by collectors and is considered a true classic in the world of numismatics.
