The reverse of the coin is inspired by the Avro Arrow's technical drawings, and features a laser-engraved grid reminiscent of the plans of yesteryear. It's our way of paying tribute to the Canadians who designed and built the most advanced fighter aircraft of its time.
Interesting fact
The Avro Arrow coin's design features an error. The missile on the coin is not the Avro Arrow, but a different missile called the Black Brant.
