Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, which was designed specifically for the Cook Islands. The 4th portrait was created by sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley and was first introduced in 2015. It features a more mature and regal image of the Queen, with a slightly different crown and a more detailed background. This portrait was only used on the Cook Islands' coins and is not found on any other coins in the Queen's collection.
