Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Pattern 20 Cents "1875⅕ Dollar" coin is that it was designed by Charles E. Barber, who was the Chief Engraver of the United States Mint at the time. Barber's design features a portrait of Lady Liberty on the obverse (front) side of the coin, and an eagle on the reverse (back) side. The coin was never officially released into circulation, but a small number of pattern coins were produced for collectors. Today, these coins are highly sought after by numismatists and can fetch high prices at auction.
