The obverse of the coin features an image of the Royal Palace in Łazienki Park, which is a prominent example of Polish Baroque architecture. The palace was originally built in the 17th century as a bathhouse for the Polish king, John III Sobieski, and was later expanded and renovated to serve as a royal residence. Today, the palace is a popular tourist attraction and is considered one of the most beautiful buildings in Poland.
