This 2 Toman is the only known regular issue of this type. There are 1 Toman coins of Ahmad Shah with reverse of this coin reading 2 Toman, but they are not 2 Toman in weight.Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Pattern 2 Toman - Ahmad Qajar (Pattern) 1331 (1913) from Iran is that it was designed by the French engraver and medalist, Gustave Eberlein. Eberlein was a prominent artist who had worked for various governments and institutions, including the French Mint, and his designs were known for their elegance and detail. The Pattern 2 Toman coin features a portrait of Ahmad Qajar on one side and an image of a lion on the other, and it was intended to be used as a pattern for a new coinage system in Iran. However, the coin was never officially released into circulation, making it a rare and valuable collector's item.
