Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 2 Thalers - Jacob III of Eltz 1570 coin is that it features a unique design element - a small shield with the coat of arms of the Counts of Eltz, which was added to the reverse side of the coin. This shield was not present on earlier issues of the coin, and its inclusion on this particular coin has led numismatists to believe that it may have been added to signify the influence of the Counts of Eltz in the region at the time.
