Interesting fact
The 2 Speciedaler coin from Norway, issued in 1662 during the reign of King Frederik III, features an interesting design element - a small hole in the center of the coin. This hole was intentionally drilled in the coin to indicate its authenticity and value. At the time, counterfeit coins were prevalent, and this unique feature helped to distinguish genuine coins from fake ones.
