Comment

The year 1847 listed by Baron von Schrötter as number 110 does not exist. Schrötter himself questioned its existence. This year is no longer used by the authors (except the SCWC).

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 2½ Silbergroschen coin from the Kingdom of Prussia is that it was minted during a time of economic and political change in Germany. The coin was introduced in 1842, just a few years after the German Customs Union was formed, which aimed to create a unified economic zone across the German states. The coin's mintage was also during the reign of Frederick William IV, who was known for his liberal policies and efforts to modernize Prussia. The coin's design, featuring an image of the king on one side and the Prussian eagle on the other, reflects the political and cultural changes taking place in Germany during this time.
