Interesting fact
The 2 Rupees coin was designed by the Indian Government to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India's independence from British rule. The coin features the Ashoka Chakra, a symbol of dharma (righteousness) and is surrounded by the words "Satyameva Jayate" (Truth Alone Triumphs) in Devanagari script, which is the national motto of India. The coin also features the years 1947-2022 on either side of the Ashoka Chakra, representing the period of Indian independence.
