Date of issue: 09 JAN 2007Sergei Pavlovich Korolyov (1907-1966) – Russian scientist, designer of rocket and space systems. Under his management rockets, artificial satellites of the Earth, manned spaceships «Vostok» and «Voskhod» had been created, on which for the first time in the history the space flight with the man onboard and the man’s going into the outer space were accomplished.
