Host coin Guatemala KM#82, which in turn is a Countermarked Peruvian KM#141.1Through a decree dated December 18, 1834, Salvadorian Provisional coin were to be tested to ascertain their legitimacy. The Zig-Zag mark was used for this purpose in late 1834 to mid-1835.
