Comment
Although similar in design to KM#92, these .1 coins were made by Loyalists in their region to show support for the Crown. So the design is but a mere copy of the Mexico City one.Mint mark Z, ZS or Zs.
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted during a time of political turmoil in Mexico. The Royalist Coinage was issued by the Spanish Crown loyalists in the State of Zacatecas during the Mexican War of Independence (1810-1821), when Mexico was fighting for its independence from Spain. Despite the turmoil, the coin still maintains a high level of craftsmanship and beauty, showcasing the rich history and cultural heritage of Mexico.
