Comment

Although similar in design to KM#93, these .3 coins were made by Loyalists in their region to show support for the Crown. So the design is but a mere copy of the Mexico City one.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted during a time of political turmoil in Mexico. The Royalist Coinage was issued by the Spanish Crown in an attempt to maintain control over the territory, which was then under threat from the insurgent forces of the Mexican War of Independence. Despite the challenges, the coin still maintains a high level of craftsmanship and beauty, showcasing the rich history and cultural heritage of Mexico.
