Due to inflation, these coins were never released into circulation. Along with the 1 øre 1960-64, they were sold to collectors as a set, called a "Hækkerupsæt" (The Hækkerup set - Per Hækkerup was the economy minister at the time). Around 100.000 sets were sold.
