Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Jane Austen Silver Piedfort coin is that it was minted to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen's death, and features an image of the author on the obverse side, along with the inscription "Jane Austen 1817-2017". The reverse side of the coin features an image of the famous Pemberley house from Austen's novel "Pride and Prejudice". The coin was designed by renowned artist and sculptor, David Knapton.
