Spink#K22A - Error edge. The obverse and reverse designs of the Act of Union silver proof combined with the edge inscription of the Abolition of the Slave Trade issue (Spink#K23). The edge inscription is impressed on the blanks prior to the striking of the obverse and reverse designs and whilst one example has been reported, and confirmed as genuine by the Royal Mint, it seems possible that a small batch may have been produced and other pieces have yet to be detected.
