From this 2017 issue the mint began using the starburst effect on the reverse for the bullion issue rather than the previous textured effect. Both the 2017 bullion issue and the 2017 Rooster privy mark strike have the starburst effect on the reverse while still using the textured effect on the obverse.
Introduced in 2013, privy marks have been added to the plain edge of the coins to commemorate the Chinese Lunar Year:

Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique reverse design, created by sculptor and engraver Jody Clark, which depicts a majestic effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by a pattern of shields and emblems that represent the four constituent countries of the United Kingdom: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. This design was specifically created for this coin and is not found on any other coin in the Royal Mint's collection.
