To mark 100 years since the birth of Donald Campbell, two BRAND NEW £2 coins have been issued by Guernsey.
Campbell is surely one of the most legendary figures in British history – he famously broke the land and water speed records in the same year in his famous Bluebird vehicles before sadly passing in a crash during his final water speed attempt.

The Donald Campbell - Bluebird CN7 coin features an image of Donald Campbell's famous jet-powered boat, Bluebird, which set a world water speed record of 555.61 mph in 1967. The coin's design also includes a representation of the boat's iconic blue and silver color scheme.
