The Hercules factory in Nuremberg was founded in 1886 as a bicycle factory. Around the same time, other bicycle factories were established in Nuremberg, such as B. the Victoria works, so that around the turn of the century (1900), Nuremberg gradually developed into the center of German two-wheel industry at the time.
