Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted during the reign of Philip the Handsome, who was the Duke of Brabant from 1496 to 1500. This coin is a rare example of a silver coin from the Belgian States during this time period, and its unique design features the coat of arms of Brabant on one side and the image of Philip the Handsome on the other. Additionally, the coin's weight of 3.1 grams and silver content of .638 make it a valuable collector's item for numismatists.
