This collection commemorates the 500 years of the fusion of two cultures (Spain and Tenochtitlan), consists of 5 pieces of pure silver (proof) of two ounces each, each with a different eagle on the reverse, representing 4 different national shields printed in history of the Mexican coins and the code that represents the founding of Tenochtitlan.The image is a mural by Mexican artist Jorge Gonzalez Camarena reacted in 1960, whose original title was "La Conquista", being changed in the 80s to "Fusion of 2 Cultures". This work is located in the National History Museum of Chapultepec Castle in Mexico City, Mexico.
