This is the first issue of the double mite with FL obverse, which would later be used by the Burgundian rulers of Flanders (see cross-references below). The ruler's name obverse can be used to differentiate the coins.Gaillard dates this issue to 1374-1377 and calculates the mintage based on mint records from this timeframe. Elsen's later research gives a slightly later date range.
