Comment
The king had a unusual death, on the evening on 12th February the King had a large dinner including many dishes with champagne. On the 12th of February 1771 it was the Swedish Fettisdagen (The Fat Tuesday), when it is common to eat Shrovetide bun. It is speculated that the King ate 14 of them for desert before he went ill and passed away a few hours later.Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted to commemorate the funeral of King Adolf Fredrik of Sweden, who died in 1771. The coin's design features an image of the king's coffin being carried by four men, surrounded by mourners and ornate decorations. The coin's silver content and weight also make it a valuable collector's item for numismatists.
