Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 2 Kroner - Haakon VII 1908-1917 coin from Norway is that it was designed by the Norwegian artist and sculptor, Erik Lindberg. The coin features a portrait of King Haakon VII on one side and the Norwegian coat of arms on the other. Lindberg's design was chosen as the winner of a competition held by the Norwegian government in 1907 to create a new design for the 2 Kroner coin. The coin was minted from 1908 to 1917 and is considered a rare and valuable collector's item today.
