The commemorative coin is dedicated to Olena Ivanivna Teliha (1906 - 1942), a talented poetess and public figure. Olena Teliha was a poetess who left not very extensive, but rather significant artistic heritage. She was an organizer and a head of the Union of Ukrainian writers in Nazies-occupied Kyiv, she edited the 'Timpani' periodical, a literary and artistic supplement to the 'Ukrainian Word' newspaper.Interesting fact
