Interesting fact

The 2½ Gulden coin from the Netherlands Antilles featuring Queen Beatrix, minted between 1980 and 1985, is interesting because it was the first coin of the Netherlands Antilles to feature a reigning monarch. Prior to this coin, the Netherlands Antilles used coins with the image of Queen Juliana, who had abdicated in 1980. This coin also has a unique design, featuring Queen Beatrix on the obverse and the coat of arms of the Netherlands Antilles on the reverse. Additionally, it's made of Nickel and weighs 14 grams, which is relatively heavy for a coin of its size.
