Interesting fact
This coin was designed by French engraver and medalist, Jean-Pierre Jaley, and features a unique pattern on the reverse side. The pattern includes a wreath of laurel leaves and berries, surrounded by the words "PATTERNE II FRANCS" and the number "10" in the center. This design was intended to be used as a pattern for a new coinage system in France, but it was ultimately not adopted. As a result, this coin is considered a rare and valuable collector's item among numismatists.
