Comment

The year 2020 was marked by the global health crisis related to covid-19. This event has disrupted our lives to a greater or lesser extent. Nevertheless, this ordeal has often been a vector of cohesion and national unity.
In order not to forget the positive impulses that were born and to capitalize on the future, we owe it to ourselves to come together. As always in health issues, research is an essential key to the struggle we are waging. After having thanked the medical staff and all the people mobilized at the heart of this crisis by creating the medal “Merci”, Monnaie de Paris is continuing its action by creating a €2 commemorative collection to support research. For every €2 Medical Research coin purchased, Monnaie de Paris commits to donate €2 to Fondation de France.
