Left the numer 2 indicating the value. At right six straight lines run vertically between the lower and upper right part of the coin. Twelve stars are superimposed on the lines, one just before the ends of each line. Below these lines there is a representation of the European continent. Above all is superimposed horizontally the word 'EURO'. Under the letter O, right, near the edge of the coin appears the monogram of the engraver (LL).

Interesting fact

The coin features a unique tactile design, with raised dots that spell out the words "LUIGI BRAILLE" in Braille alphabet, which is a nod to Louis Braille's invention of the Braille system for the visually impaired. This design feature makes the coin accessible to visually impaired individuals, allowing them to identify the coin by touch.
