Comment
The Ten-Day War or the Slovenian Independence War was a civil war in Yugoslavia that followed the Slovenian declaration of independence on 25 June 1991. It was fought between the Slovenian Territorial Defence and the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) in 1991 after Slovenia declared its independence. It lasted from 27 June 1991 until 7 July 1991, when the Brijuni Accords were signed. It marked the beginning of the Yugoslav Wars.Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Slovenian 2 Euro Independence coin is that it features a unique design that symbolizes the country's independence and unity. The coin's obverse side depicts a stylized image of a bird flying over a mountain range, which represents the country's freedom and sovereignty. The reverse side features a map of Slovenia, with the country's name written in Slovene, English, and German. The coin's bimetallic design, with a nickel brass clad nickel center in a copper-nickel ring, adds to its unique appearance and collectibility.
