Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 2 Euro circulating commemorative coin "Beatrix (10 Years of EMU)" from the Netherlands, minted in 2009, is that it features a unique bimetallic design. The inner core is made of nickel brass, while the outer ring is made of copper-nickel, resulting in a distinctive two-tone look. This innovative design was a first for the Dutch mint and adds an extra layer of interest to the coin's aesthetic appeal.
