The Ħaġar Qim Temples complex is a megalithic temple complex found on the Mediterranean island of Malta, dating from the Ġgantija phase (3600-3200 BC). The Megalithic Temples of Malta are among the most ancient religious sites on Earth. Ħaġar Qim was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1992.This coin is the second of a series of seven that will be issued by the Bank which will depict Malta's prehistoric monuments that are listed by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites.
