Interesting fact
The coin features a portrait of King Albert II, who reigned from 1993 to 2013. The portrait was designed by the Belgian artist, Jan Alfons Keustermans. The coin also features the inscription "ALBERT II" and the year of minting. The reverse side of the coin shows the denomination and the 12 stars of the European Union.
