Interesting fact
The 2 Ducats 1658 from the City of Bern is a rare and valuable coin, with only a few known examples surviving to this day. One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted during a time of great turmoil in Europe, known as the Thirty Years War, which lasted from 1618 to 1648. Despite the conflict, the City of Bern was able to maintain its independence and continue minting coins, such as this 2 Ducats, which was used as a means of exchange and store of value.
