The Scottsdale Mint released the third series of the Eastern Caribbean 8 (EC8) countries program in 2020. As with the previous 2018 and 2019 series, the 2020 Rum Runner coin of Antigua and Barbuda was the inaugural release. It is expected the program with see coins minted on behalf of each of the eight Caribbean island members, comprising of Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The coins are legal tender in these countries, the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) being the official issuer of the Eastern Caribbean dollar.The Scottsdale Mint with issue four varieties of this coin. These are a .999 silver brilliant uncirculated coin (25,000 mintage), a .999 silver proof colorized coin (500 mintage), a .9999 gold brilliant uncirculated coin (2,500 mintage) and a .9999 gold proof colorized coin (100 coins).
