One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, depicting her in a traditional Chinese dress and hairstyle, in honor of the Chinese legend of Mulan. This design was created by the Niuean artist, Bonnie Ross, and it's the first time that the Queen has been depicted in such a way on a coin.
