The centre of the coin has been left print-free allowing the gold of the coin’s alloy to shine through as a unique representation of the central yellow sun motif.

This is the first coloured $2 coin to be included in the RAM's Mint and Proof Sets. The 2021 Uncirculated and Proof Sets both include this coin. The Royal Australian Mint’s 2021 Six Coin Uncirculated Year Set & Proof Set commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Australian Aboriginal Flag – a touchstone of our modern history, an official Flag of Australia and a symbol of pride and unity for our First Nations People.

This is the 2021 Uncirculated Mint Set.
