Interesting fact

The 2 Christians d'Or coin from Denmark, issued during the reign of Christian VIII (1841-1847), features a unique design element - a small portrait of the king surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves, which was a departure from the traditional depiction of the monarch on Danish coins.
