The mintmark "A" is on reverse, below the ribbon of the wreath, except on 1924 issue, minted at Poissy; mint uses a thunderbolt mintmark, placed below value and above ribbon, and on 1941 issue, minted at Santiago de Chile minthouse, mintmark is placed on top, between both points of wreath.Interesting fact
