Interesting fact

The 1999 South African 2½ Cents Great White Shark coin is a unique collector's item, as it features a striking design of a great white shark on the obverse (front side), while the reverse side features the coat of arms of South Africa. The coin's design was created by renowned South African artist, D.L. Nel, and it's a rare example of a coin that features a shark species. Additionally, the coin's silver content and low mintage make it a valuable collector's item for numismatists and shark enthusiasts alike.
