Countermark on 1/6 cut of Spanish or Spanish Colonial 8 Reales. Only five examples known.Interesting fact
The 2 Bits ND (1814) coin from Grenada was actually a re-strike of the original 1814 coin, which was minted to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the island's colonization by the British. The re-strike was minted in the 1970s and features a slightly different design than the original coin. Despite being a re-strike, the 1970s version of the coin is still considered a valuable collector's item among numismatists.
