Elephant within chakra

Comment

The gold coin Tot-Pit-Paddueng of Rama V period was not intended to be in circulation, but just a restrike of the ones of the Rama IV period. The elephant in the center of Rama V Paddueng will be larger.

Normally, the Chakra side is blurred in contrast of the Crown side, which has sharp details.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the Non-circulating coin 2½ Baht "Paddueng" - Rama V (official restrike) ND (1894) from Thailand made of Gold (.997) weighing 1.73 g is that it was minted to commemorate King Rama V's 40th anniversary of his reign.
