Interesting fact

The 2 Bagattini coin from the Republic of Venice was used as a form of currency during the Renaissance period, specifically in the 16th century. Its design features the symbol of the Venetian Republic, the Lion of St. Mark, on one side, and the image of a saint on the other. The coin was made of copper and had a relatively low value, but it played an important role in the economy of the time, facilitating everyday transactions and trade.
