Comment
In 1717, 1718 and 1719 were imported from Holland fake coins of 16 skilling 4 to 5 times worthless. So this coin was taken off the circulation with a law of July 1726Not to be confused with Norway KM#216
Interesting fact
The 16 Skilling Dansk coin features an error in its design, known as the "Dansk Mint Error." The error occurs on the obverse side of the coin, where the king's name, "Frederik IV," is misspelled as "Friederich IV." This error was caused by a mistake in the engraving process and was not corrected before the coins were minted and circulated. As a result, the error has become a unique feature of the coin and is highly sought after by collectors.
