Comment
Alabanda as AntiocheiaInteresting fact
The obverse (front) side of the coin features a portrait of a bearded man, believed to be King Mausolus, who ruled over Caria from 377 BC to 353 BC. The reverse (back) side of the coin depicts a four-horse chariot, which was a common motif in ancient Greek coinage and symbolized the king's power and wealth.
