The Royal Australian Mint has released a new range of kangaroo gold bullion coins. The coins feature a classic kangaroo design that was once minted on Australia’s copper pennies. The bounding kangaroo is surrounded by leaves and flowers of a Tasmanian Blue Gum along with the Commonwealth star. The obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II encircled by the leaves of a Tasmanian Blue Gum.
