Interesting fact
The obverse (front) side of the coin features a portrait of the Greek goddess Artemis, while the reverse (back) side depicts a stag, which was a symbol of the city of Ephesos. This coin was issued during the reign of King Attalus II, who ruled over the ancient kingdom of Pergamon, which included the city of Ephesos.
